How to Record Streaming Audio
Sound Editor Deluxe is an audio editing tool with easy interface,
powerful features and fast processing speed. It can be used to edit
audio data, record any sound you hear, burn audio CD burn and
convert sound files between various audio formats. Do you often
listen to the stream audio on internet? To record what you hear
would be as simple as 1, 2, 3.
1. You should download Sound
Editor Deluxe at first. Install it and there will be a desktop
shortcut to launch the program.

2. Click "Tools - Audio
Recorder" and the built-in recorder tool - "Smart Recorder" will be
activated.
3. Click "SETTINGS" and the "Settings" window pops
up. In "General Settings", you can choose the output file type as
WAV, MP3 or WMA. Then, choose the recording view mode. Click
"Change" to select output directory. In "Output Format Settings",
you can specify the detailed quality you need or use convenient
presets provided.

4. Click "DEVICE" to select your recording
sound card and, if you want to record streaming audio, you must
choose "Stereo Mix" in the "Recording Device" dropdown menu.

5. Click "Record" and enter the name for your recording. Click "OK"
and the recording is started. If the sound signal is detected, you
can see the dynamic effect of viewing mode selected in the window.

6. Click "Stop" to finish recording and now the recording has
been output as the format you want, without creating any temp files.
Click this microphone icon button to open the output folder.
